Overhead Crane Operator- Greensboro (Full time) ($14.00- $15.00)
Understands and adheres to the Company's safety plan as applied in the job position.
Understands and adheres to the provisions of the Company's employee handbook. Must have knowledge of the packaging operation.
Responsible to read, follow and understand the schedule and work order and work instructions.
Responsible for loading and unloading of in-bound / out-bound shipments, Responsible for communicating supply needs to Supervisor / Plant Manager.
Responsible for location maintenance of finished goods (scanning).
Responsible for the proper tagging of all inbound / outbound material.
Responsible for housekeeping in the assigned areas.
Comply with all environmental laws, standards and Environment Management System Procedures that are applicable to the job function.
Perform other duties as needed or required.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
REQUIREMENTS: Wear all required PPE
Must be able to assess problem situations and make sound decisions to alleviate.
Must be able to work well with others in a team environment.
Basic math skills: fraction to decimal conversion, addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.
Must be able to understand the; scanning, ticketing, pick ticket and bill of lading system. Must maintain forklift certification and operate material handling equipment.
Participate in Kaizen (continual improvement) functions.
Ability to raise arms above head for short periods Ability to walk and stand on concrete for extended periods of time.
Ability to work flexible hours and limited amounts of overtime.
Ability to lift and carry for short distances a minimum of 50 lbs.
Can withstand temperatures comparable to the outside environment.
Subject to air/skin exposure to oils.

On-going training as required.
